Ad Manager: Settings
Ad Manager settings provide enhanced options for managing Meta Ad accounts, connected Facebook pages, and conversion pixels, allowing more control over ad assets and campaign data. By understanding these settings, users can optimize their campaigns, manage Facebook pages, and track conversions seamlessly.
How to Access Ad Manager Settings
1. Navigate to the Ad Manager home page located within the Marketing & Sales > Email & Social Media tab.
2. Click the Settings icon to open the Ad Manager settings section.
3. Explore the three main tabs: Integrations, Pages, and Conversions, for specific functionalities.
Ad Account Tab
The Ad account tab under Ad Manager settings lets you manage the Meta Ad account connected to your campaigns. Currently, only one Meta Ad account can be connected.
Key Functions
- Add or Remove Ad Account: Connect your Meta Ad account when you first set up Ad Manager, or remove it to link a different account. When removing an ad account, you’ll be prompted for confirmation to remove it and all the campaigns which are present in Ad Manager will no longer be visible.
- Restoring Campaigns on Reconnection: If you reconnect the same ad account, all associated campaigns and pages will reappear without data loss.
Pages Tab
The Pages tab lists all Facebook pages linked to your Ad Manager. You can add new pages or remove existing ones.
Key Functions
- Connect Facebook Pages: Click Connect Facebook Page(s) to link pages associated with your Meta Ad account.
- Delete Pages: To remove a page, click the delete icon. Note that published ads remain on Facebook but are no longer editable from Ad Manager.
If you reconnect a previously removed page, all related campaigns will reappear in your Ad Manager dashboard, ready for continued use.
Conversions Tab
The Conversions tab displays all conversion pixels, including those created within Ad Manager or brought in from your Meta Ad account.
Key Functions
- Create New Pixels: Add new conversion pixels with the Create New Conversion Pixel option to track specific actions for your campaigns. The pixel ID and code are automatically generated, simplifying workflow creation for sending CAPI events back to Facebook.
- View Existing Pixels: Monitor and manage all pixels connected to Ad Manager, including those from the Meta Ad account.
Note: Currently, Ad Manager allows the creation of only one pixel, which can be utilized for both Lead and Funnel events without any limitations from Facebook.
