How to Create and Use a Coupon/Promo Code - One Step Form

Using Coupon or Promo codes with your audience can generate more sales and allow you to offer specific products and deals to specific leads or customers. This article quickly explains how to use a Coupon within the One Step Order Form in the Funnel Builder.

NOTEThis article assumes that you have already created a funnel and associated product(s) and have a One Step Order Form in the funnel. If you haven't done these items, we highly recommend you first check out the other videos in the Funnel Builder section. Additionally, the Coupon Feature doesn’t support subscription/recurring products, it only supports one-time products. However, Promo Codes will work for recurring purchases.

100% Off Coupons and Enabling/Disabling Credit Card details requirements

  • Your customer can redeem a coupon code to get 100% off on the cart value.
  • You can disable the Require Credit Card option within your funnel settings to simplify the process for customers purchasing $0 products by removing the need for credit card details. If the checkout is more than $0 they will be prompted to fill in their credit card details.

  • Only Stripe can be used to give 100% off on order amounts, this will not work with Paypal. In case both Stripe and Paypal exist, the Paypal option will not show up.
  • “Card details will be used for verification purposes” will show beside the card element during the $0 checkout when the option is enabled.
