How do I Add My Zoom Background?

Follow the steps below to add your virtual background on Zoom:

1. Open the Zoom desktop app and sign in.
2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture, then select Settings.

3. In the left-hand menu, click Backgrounds & Effects.

4. Go to the Virtual Backgrounds tab.

Note: If you don't see the "Virtual Backgrounds" tab but you've enabled it in your Zoom web settings, try signing out and back into the Zoom app.

To change or remove your virtual background:

• Select None to remove your background.
• Select Blur to blur your real background.
• Choose an image or video from Zoom’s default options or your recently uploaded ones.
• To upload your own background, click the plus (+) icon, then choose whether you want to upload an image or video. Select a file from your device.

If prompted, click Download to install the virtual background package (no green screen needed).
